Joseph J. Neenan, CPA

Joseph J. Neenan, CPA, has been with the firm since 1997, and a partner since 2002. Joe graduated from Orange County Community College with an A.S. degree in Business Management in 1993 and from SUNY New Paltz with a B.S. degree in Accounting in 1995.

Joe lives in Slate Hill, NY and has been a member of the Port Jervis Rotary Club since 2002. As past President, he has also served as Treasurer since 2004. Joe is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPA’s.

W. Kurt Wieman, CPA

W. Kurt Wieman, CPA has been with the firm since 1995, and a partner since 2013. Kurt graduated from Orange County Community College with an A.S. degree in Accounting in 1997 and from SUNY New Paltz with a B.S. degree in Accounting in 2000.

He is currently serving on the board of the INSPIRE Foundation as Vice Chair and is a past treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Middletown from 2005-2014. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Lori A. Vreeland, CPA

Lori A. Vreeland, CPA, has been with the firm since 2006 and a partner since 2013. Lori graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Lori lives in Middletown with her husband and two sons. Lori is currently the treasurer for Minisink Cares, Inc. She has also served as Treasurer for the Minisink Valley Youth Football League and Minisink Aquatics. Lori has assisted many local non-profits with filings and organization. She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Sarah de los Santos

Sarah graduated from Mercy University in 2024 with a Bachleors degree in Accounting. She is currently pursuing a Masters at SUNY New Paltz and she has been with KKB&N since 2024.

Matthew Alfano

Matthew graduated with his Masters degree from the University of Albany in 2025 in Accounting and has been with the KKB&N team since then. 

Kathy Jo Birchard

 

Kathy Jo has been with KKB&N since 2022. She has worked in the accounting and tax field for over nine years.

Vyana Wilson

 

Vyana has worked in the accounting and tax field for over three years and joined KKB&N in 2024.

 

 

Alexandra "Lexi" Johnson

Lexi graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors depree in Anthropolgy in 2025 .She joined KKB&N in 2025.

 

 

Charles W. Krogslund

Chuck is the founder and retired president of KKB&N, CPAs. He has been a CPA for over 35 years and continues to be very active in the Middletown Kiwanis and Otisville Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church. He has been married for over 40 years to Gerda who is a retired school teacher. They have two sons and two grandchildren; all who live and work in the Orange County area.

John “Jack” Keating, CPA, PFS

John “Jack” Keating, CPA, PFS, joined the accounting firm in 1982, and became a partner in 1990. He graduated from the University of Arizona and Orange County Community College.

Jack lives in the town of Mount Hope and has served on the Board of Directors of the Middletown YMCA as Treasurer and also on the Foundation Board for Orange Regional Medical Center. He is a member of both the New York State Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s. In 2001 he was awarded the PFS Designation (Personal Financial Specialist) by the AICPA.

Edward M. Behrens, CPA

Edward M. Behrens, CPA, has been with the firm since 1985, and a partner since 1990. He graduated, cum laude, with an Accounting degree from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY in 1982.

Ed lives in Middletown with his wife, Cathy, and has been a member of the Middletown Rotary since 1989 where he serves on the Board and is the Treasurer. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ed has served on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and has also served on the Board of the Middletown Business Improvement District.
